According to Hainan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Hainan Qinfu Industrial Co., Ltd was ranked as the No. 1 among ten best China tilapia farming bases and the No. 6 among ten best Chinese tilapia processing & trading enterprises.
Wenchang county is the base of tilapia farming in Hainan province. Total farming area of culturing bases registered in Wenchang Qinglan Inspection & Quarantine Bureau has reached 100, 000 mu, which can supply up to 200, 000 tonnes raw fish for export in the whole Hainan province, contributing a lot to Hainan tilapia industry development and international tourism island and national tropical modern agricultural base building. Hainan Qinfu Industrial Co., Ltd is the largest export enterprise of tilapia in Qinglan, Wenchang, whose annual export target of tilapia product approaches 10, 000 tonnes.
